Access

The parking lot is located between Dro and Drena, after a road bend. It’s on the left if you arrive from Riva del Garda > Arco > Dro. 150 m further up the road, on the right, there’s one more parking lot.

Alternatively, you can park at the end of the via ferrata and descend towards the start point on foot. This upper parking lot (45.9703,10.9402) in Drena has a time limit of 2 hours (August 2023), just enough to complete the tour.

Approach to start

From the lower parking place near Dro, you simply cross the road and hike up on the visible trail, following the signs to the entrance.

The route

In the beginning there are a few slightly overhanging segments. Traverses and two 3-cables bridges take you between the rock walls, above the cooling stream. At the end, you can visit the castle as well.

Descent

From Drena, there are clear signposts to mark the trail descending back to the parking lot, which crosses the road bends as well.

Good to know

A good route for hot days, with a castle at the end, which is worth a visit.
